Oh these are certainly pretty dessert bars! The contrast of red freeze-dried strawberries against the vibrant green of a creamy matcha topping, smothered over a chocolate oat base make these vegan-friendly sweet treats not only look divine but taste divine too! Made using Nature’s Charm’s coconut matcha sauce [paid recipe], they are so simple to make but look gorgeous too.

Ingredients:
For the base –
- 80g oats
- 40g dates, soaked in boiling water
- 30g cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup or sweetener
- 2 tablespoons nut butter
- 1 tablespoon oat milk
For the topping –
- 2 tablespoons Nature’s Charm matcha coconut sauce
- 2 tablespoons coconut yogurt or cream cheese
- Freeze-dried strawberries
- Granola, to sprinkle

Make them!
1) Place the drained dates, oats, cocoa powder, sweetener/syrup, nut butter and oat milk in a food processor until the mixture is combined.
2) Press this between a silicone individual bar mold – fill 8 of them up to ½ way and press down evenly.
3) Mix together the matcha sauce and cream cheese or yogurt then spread this generously over each base to fill to the top.
4) Arrange freeze-dried strawberry pieces on top and sprinkle over some granola. Chill in the fridge overnight or freeze for 2 hours. Then you are ready to pop out and enjoy!
