You can’t beat a festive recipe that requires simple prep, goodies like chocolate and marshmallows, plus some goodness like nuts and dried fruit…plus your own easy cute Christmas chocolates (advent calendar tray = life hack!). Using Nature’s Charm’s sweetened condensed coconut milk [paid recipe] to create the perfect texture for these colourful treats.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons Nature’s Charm sweetened condensed coconut milk
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 4 oat ginger biscuits, broken into pieces 
  • 20g mini vegan marshmallows
  • 30g raisins
  • 30g dried cranberries
  • 30g walnut pieces
  • 30g hazelnuts, chopped

For the chocolates –

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons smooth nut butter
  • 70g white chocolate, chopped (can be vegan) 

Make them!

  1. First make the chocolates: Melt the coconut oil, nut butter and chocolate then pour between the mini chocolate advent calendar tray – any shapes! Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  2. Melt the coconut oil and condensed milk, then whisk in the cocoa powder until smooth. 
  3. In a bowl mix together the marshmallows, biscuit pieces, dried fruit and nuts. Pour in the melted cocoa mixture and mix well to combine. Spoon into a greased and lined 9x9in baking tin and spread out well.
  4. Arrange some of the chocolates on top and press down gently then chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours until set.
  5. Remove from the tin and cut into 9-12 pieces. Chill in the fridge for up to 1 week and grab a piece when you want.
