Nature’s Finest’s mission is: ‘to bring you the finest fruit – made easy!’. And that means being able to find, eat and enjoy exotic fruit like papaya, pineapple and mango in our shops so the whole family can enjoy their naturally sweet goodness.

I remember years ago when tinned fruit got a bad rep; well, how times have changed! I’ve always believed that whether fruit and vegetables are fresh, frozen, tinned or dried, they all carry essential nutrients and it’s great to be able to have a variety in our fridges, freezers and storecupboards. And Nature’s Finest products are no different, in their vibrant packaging made from recyclable materials – I always have some tins or pots in the cupboard handy if the kids have eaten all the fresh fruit!

Let’s start with the Tropical Fruits sharing pot and family Peach pot. Both with no added sugar or anything artificial, I was impressed with the quality of the size, taste and quantity of the fruits. Juicy, sweet, full of flavour and colourful, not only did I love tucking into both of these pots; my boys were all over the juicy peach chunks and of course, the mixture of red and yellow papaya and pineapple – a winner for all.

The handy snack pots are great when out and about. My boys and I – with the dog – are always out on nature walks or outdoor adventures, and I always have a lunchbox packed with healthy snacks. We took some of the Mandarin Pots out with us (plus a spoon, don’t forget cutlery!) and both Tom and Ollie raved how sweet and juicy the mandarins were, and extra points for drinking the fruit juice they were in!

I don’t usually buy prunes (I’m a big date lover) but let me tell you, I am now a prune convert! This family Prunes pot contains pitted ones in juice – no added sugar or anything artificial, once again – and just serving them with Greek yogurt, granola and walnuts tasted like a treat. Sumptuous, sweet with a hint of tartness, I loved the plumpness of the prunes and I actually kept some of the juice to drink separately too, it was so nice.

Overall I’m thrilled with these Nature’s Finest products and I’d urge anyone, or any family, to grab some pots next time they go shopping. They are nice to enjoy any time, whether you have fresh or frozen fruits in or not!
