It was a pleasure to work with two wonderful brands on this drinks project, with the aim of creating a vibrant, flavoursome and tangy mocktail to enjoy in the sunshine. I rarely drink alcohol myself but I loved testing out Caleño non-alcoholic, Colombian-inspired, vegan-friendly drinks as an alternative but still packed with flavour. Together with fermented Agua de Madre Remedio Infusions products, which nourish microbiome and support immunity, providing functional wellness ingredients and flavour to cocktails, this is a match made in heaven!

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices fresh pineapple, chopped
  • ½ mango, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 shots Caleño Dark & Spicy
  • 2 heaped teaspoons Agua de Madre Lemon & Ginger Remedio
  • 200ml lemonade 
  • Lime slice, to garnish 

Make it! 

  1. Add the mango and pineapple chunks and lime juice to a blender and whizz up until smooth. Add in the remedio and Caleño and mix well.
  2. Pour the mixture between two glasses to fill halfway, then top up each one to fill to the top.
  3. Add a lime slice to the side of each glass, then drink up and enjoy!
