SpamellaB’s Top Healthy Instagram Accounts

Alongside Twitter, Instagram is my other favourite social media channel when it comes to finding health food inspiration and drooling over edible creations. There’s so much talent out there, showing how clean ingredients can be combined to produce some of the most stunning, delicious meals and sweet treats; we really are spoilt for choice, whether you’re a whizz in the kitchen or a novice seeking ideas of how to start off.

I could have included over 100 in this list, but here are my top 15 Instagram accounts I’d recommend following. In no particular order, I hope you enjoy posts and images from these wonderfully creative health food geniuses. Please feel free to comment on the post if there are any others we should all be following too – there’s no such thing as too much inspiration!

Nadia’s Healthy Kitchen

Stunning, vibrant food photography and clean, creative recipe packed with goodness – Nadia’s Instagram and blog are brimming with ideas and wonderful concoctions. Focused on raw, high protein, gluten-free and no added sugars, this girl is a genius in the kitchen and is someone who I continue to admire every time she posts yet another gorgeous food photo!

Rebel Recipes

Niki’s blog and Instagram are based around the premise of her ‘obsession with delicious, healthy food and lifestyle’, something which I can certainly relate to! A huge fan of both, I regularly trawl through her beautiful Instagram account for ideas from her colourful, imaginative creations (seriously guys, her breakfast posts in the morning are drool-inducing!). If you’re looking for some healthy inspiration, head over here and be wowed by Niki’s foodie photos.

My Big Fat Diary

Like me, Alison is a fitness fanatic and nutrition obsessed, and her passion for these is obvious through her blog and colourful, easy to create healthy food ideas posted on Instagram. Showing how to ‘clean up your favourite meals and desserts’ with a 80/20 paleo friendly focus, Alison’s photos are sure to get your juices flowing (and taste buds going!).

Burton’s Bakes

It would be a crime for me not to include Hebe’s amazing healthy creations on her Instagram and shared on her blog. This food and fitness fanatic girl has such an imagination that allows her to create even the most deceivingly ‘unhealthy’ meals and sweet treats – while managing to make them much less naughty and protein dense.

Nics Nutrition

Another of my inspirations when I first started out health food blogging, Nic is not only a total babe but shares wise words about a healthy, balanced attitude to food, nutrition and exercise. Her site and Instagram account promote this philosophy through visually appealing and easy to follow recipes for any time of day.

Clean Eating Alice

It’s fair to say this girl is currently taking the health, fitness and food world by storm, as she has recently been featured in a whole host of worldwide publications. Alice’s simple but easy meals posted on her Instagram show that eating clean certainly doesn’t have to be boring, dull or uninspired – I pretty much go on her page every few days to get ideas!

Medicinal Kitchen

A true inspiration of mine, Emma has battled and powered through some seriously tough times – but is absolutely smashing life through fitness and health food. Both her blog and Instagram are based on clinical nutrition and multi-allergy friendly recipes, which always catch my eye at all meal times during the day! Certainly one to follow for accessible healthy ideas.

Beki’s Instagram page is drool-worthy, hosting many protein-rich, delicious and balanced creations. Teaming up with fellow health and fitness babe, Vian, to form the Delicious Duo, I’d strongly recommend following both for foodie inspiration, especially if you have a sweet tooth!

Ash’s Fit Kitchen

Formerly known as Gluten-Free Gluttony, Ash is a big inspiration of mine and as amazing in person as she comes across on her blog and Instagram! A protein chef, lifter of weights, nut butter addict and all about food and fitness, her creations show off her creative flair and ability to make delicious food while still being healthy.

Run With Spoons

A health coach, blogger, recipe developer and ‘general lover of life’, I love Amanda’s stunning photography and creativity on both her Instagram and blog. As many of my recipes are clean versions of sweet treats, I’m a huge fan of her imaginative creations covering a whole manner of goodies. Be warned: don’t have a browse if you’re hungry!

Growing Butterflygrowing-butterfly-insta

Aspiring gym instructor Sarah Leanne is ‘passionate about spreading a positive message through [my own] ’ journey’. I had the pleasure of meeting her earlier this year at Body Power Expo, and it’s been great to see her Instagram page and blog fill up with eye catching, healthy and protein-packed foodie ideas to fuel fitness.

Vicki Mellard PT

A good friend of mine, certified personal trainer and fellow Manchester girly, Vicki, aims to inspire and motivate through her Instagram account and newly created blog. Packed with healthy, balanced meal and snack ideas, her account is a great go-to page if you’re short of time or want to change up your routine.

Beyond Fit

Hanna just radiates health and happiness in her Instagram photos and blog, inspiring health and wellness through her aspirational images of food and lifestyle. A health chef, life coach and nutritionist, her creations are stunning but simple and make you want to eat through the screen!

Ceri Kitchen

A natural chef, food and recipe writer and healthy cooking instructor, Ceri has been one of my foodie inspirations for a long time. Cooking with ‘whole foods, naturally devoid of gluten and refined sugar’, I share her philosophy of eating well to make you feel good – but also having fun with delicious creations, as her stunningly aesthetic Instagram account and site certainly show!

Live Naturally N

A uni student ‘trying to live a healthy and happy life through food, exercise and clean cosmetics on a budget’, Nicole’s posts on both her blog and Instagram are wonderfully eye catching. Showing how tasty, simple but healthy meals and snacks can be created without spending loads, her account is worth following whether you’re a student or trying to be more frugal!

PS…Here’s a cheeky little plug for my own Instagram account – I’d love you to follow me and my #indulginginnocently gluten-free, high protein recipe creations, please do comment or let me know what you think! <3
